I promote light and positivity in hopes to prevent others from feeling hopeless. Those of you that have experienced hopelessness or currently battle with it can attest to the perversity of it.
Do you find it strange that people come together just to be alone? We long for connection so we go where other people are, but we avoid that connection we long for by staying connected to our devices. Will you disconnect to reconnect?
We have the opportunity to truly indulge without worry or fear of what’s going to happen next.
It comes down to a simple choice. You either choose to be present and live in the moment, or you dwell on what you can’t control. What will you choose?
It was a quick reminder that we as humans are SO capable and well equipped to endure the pain inflicted on the path to greatness.
Be inspired by all the people who came before you. Everyone has a different journey. Look at the obstacles others have overcome to show you that you too can do it.
We sometimes try and tell people how and what to feel when we ourselves have never experienced the matter at hand. We can become more aware by educating ourselves through reading and through conversation, but not to be mistaken... that will NEVER trump experience.
If it's within arms reach, why not go for it? Every one is bound to fail, so there's no point in waiting around for the "perfect" time to screw up. Get ahead of those who shy away from failure.
Have you ever been held back by judgmental people? Their comments may sound something like, "There's no way you can make a living as an artist" or "That's dumb. You should really consider something else." If you've had an unpleasant interaction of the sort, you're encouraged to read on.
This is just a reminder that if people come down on you for the things you do few and far between, always rise above!
The good news is that the stigma on mental health is changing. But for the cause to remain progressive we need to constantly bring awareness towards it. Not just today, but every day!
We're always trying to teach kids something, but it's Flash who taught me today. Be who you want to be with the passion and belief he had.
I believe patience truly is a virtue. Practice it daily, and see if you benefit from it.
I've seen it happen far too often. An argument or misunderstanding that could be resolved with some communication. Something that could be dissolved with a simple let go of the egotistical self. A simple apology. A sense of ownership, and maybe humility.
I find that HAPPINESS is dependent on what YOU find important in life. Making your goal to achieve happiness, ATTAINABLE.
