Life's Too Short
Dropping me off at school, my mom would never allow me to step out the car while (1) Still being mad at her, and (2) Without saying "I love you."
I've seen it happen far too often. An argument or misunderstanding that could be resolved with some communication. Something that could be dissolved with a simple let go of the egotistical self. A simple apology. A sense of ownership, and maybe humility.
I remember attending a funeral with emotions all over the place, including mine. What I remember more than the pain that I was feeling, is the pain that another individual was going through. The hysterical cries and utterances of "I'm sorry" and "please forgive me." Words that the deceased will never hear, and words that this individual will never get to express to their loved one.
Don’t allow anger, nor pride, stop you from mending a relationship with someone you find near and dear to your heart. Tomorrow is never promised.”
Life's too short to hold back!
