Patience is a Virtue

I'm often told I have a lot of patience. That if people were in the situations I find myself in, they would "lose it." I find humor in this, because sometimes I feel as though I'm impatient.

What I've learned over time is that coming from a place of understanding (or trying to understand) opposed to frustration can have a beneficial impact on who I'm dealing with, but also within myself. People naturally respond better to communication through reasoning.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around certain things, but I remember that I am the way I am due to things that have happened in the past, or things I'm currently going through. I know this to be the case with others.

I look at it like this.. Would I want someone to be impatient with my mother, father, brother, sister? Nah.

I believe patience truly is a virtue. Practice it daily, and see if you benefit from it.
